We are proud and excited to announce the release of The Co-Operators Dub LP 'Vibrations from the Bionic Tabernacle' through Woodland Records and Warrior Charge Records.

When mixing both 'Rhythms from the Kitchen Sink' & 'Beating the Doldrums' I tried my best to record dubs of all of the tracks alongside their vocal counterparts. Many of these tunes never made their way out as singles and as a consequence the dubs remained largely unheard.

The classic dub albums of the 70s such as Scratch's 'Super Ape' and Phillip Fullwood's 'Words in Dub' (to name just two of my favourites) have remained a huge influence on my work and informed me as a musician and producer. As the tunes fermented in the Waggle Dance Studio archives for a few years, inspired by some of these infamous records of days gone by, I began to think about compiling a dub album myself combining these unreleased cuts. Rather than re-dubbing the tunes (as it is always tempting to revisit), I thought it best to keep the vibe and feel as true to the original form as possible and use those mixes to make the LP that became 'Vibrations from the Bionic Tabernacle'.

It is a pleasure to finally be releasing this record with two labels that have been integral to the growth of The Co-Operators. Woodland Records released our first ever single 'Flesh Eater' taking a gamble on us and Warrior Charge released one of our favourite records to date 'Living Dead/All Night Skanking'. All that aside the people behind both labels are great friends of ours and we are humbled that this project will reach you all through their imprints. 'Vibrations from the Bionic Tabernacle' is the final part of what we regard as a trilogy of LPs (the other two being the ones mentioned above) & we hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it.
